THE "DIAMOND LIKE CARBON" COATING
The Diamond Like Carbon coating was developed in the 70s and today it is very successfully used in sectors such as jewelry, formula 1 or in the electronics industry. It owes its name to its properties that are closely related to those of diamonds: high hardness, biocompatibility, low friction coefficient. An innovative molecular coating with very high potential, DLC increases the wear resistance and service life of components, limiting maintenance activities. In watchmaking, the DLC coating has allowed us to create luxury watches with the unique total black style, which are long-lasting and 100% hypoallergenic."
